This website is operated by ETHX Softcon Private Limited, a company registered in India (Corporate Identification Number U62011PN2019PTC184753), based in Pune, Maharashtra (“ETHX Softcon”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

We only collect personal data that you choose to send us, plus limited technical data:

• Contact and enquiry forms — your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), and the details you write about your request (for example skill area, engagement type, start date or assessment topic).
• Job applications — your name, email, phone number (optional), the role you are applying for, an optional cover note, and the CV file you upload.
• Technical data sent with a form — your IP address, browser (user-agent) and the site language you used, so we can detect abuse and spam.
• Server logs — like most websites, our web server records requests (IP address, pages requested, date and time, browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

Please do not include sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or government ID details) in forms or CVs.

• To respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to provide our services.
• To assess job applications and contact candidates about roles.
• To send you a confirmation that we received your message.
• To protect the site and our forms against spam, fraud and misuse.

We process form and application data because you give it to us for a specific purpose — your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and recruiting. We process technical and log data for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that already took place.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

• Resend (Resend, Inc., United States) — the email service that delivers form submissions and job applications to our inbox and sends your confirmation email.
• Our hosting provider — which runs the servers this website and its logs are stored on.
• ETHX Softcon team members in India, the United States and Japan who need the information to handle your request or application.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose it.

We serve clients in the United States, Japan and India, so your data may be processed in any of these countries, and by our email provider in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected wherever it is processed.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any resulting business relationship. We keep job applications for as long as needed to complete the recruitment process for the role. Contact us at any time to ask for your data to be deleted sooner.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores only:

• ethx_pref_locale — a cookie that remembers your language choice (kept for up to 12 months).
• ethx_cookie_consent_v1 — saved in your browser's local storage to remember your answer to the cookie banner.
• A session-only flag that remembers if you closed the translation notice; it is cleared when you close the browser tab.

If we add analytics in future, it will only run after you accept it in the cookie banner, and we will update this policy first.

Depending on where you live — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and US state privacy laws — you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or complete it;
• have it deleted;
• withdraw your consent;
• nominate another person to exercise your rights (India); and
• raise a grievance with us, and then with your data protection authority.

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and access to submitted data is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

This website is intended for businesses and job seekers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
