How does ETHX Softcon handle Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and FBDI integration work?
ETHX Softcon uses Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as the default integration layer between Oracle Fusion Cloud or E-Business Suite and the rest of a client's estate, building REST and SOAP integrations, pre-built and custom adapters, FBDI automation, and event-driven flows. Pre-built adapters cover systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and FTP, with custom REST and SOAP adapters where none exist. FBDI and HDL loads are scheduled and restart-safe, with reconciliation and exception handling.
Event-driven work uses OCI Streaming, webhooks, and fan-out patterns for near-real-time order, inventory, and customer events. API management uses OCI API Gateway for rate limiting, authentication, and monitoring. Every integration includes logging, metrics, and an error queue with a runbook. Delivery moves from a systems and SLA inventory through design, build, happy-path, error-path, and volume testing, and cutover rehearsal, to monitoring and quarterly OIC release readiness. ETHX Softcon also offers OIC health checks that surface anti-patterns, scaling risks, and optimisation opportunities.
